Policy Volunteer
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for people interested in creating and discussing policy, either in general or with a passion for a specific topic, such as the environment, economics, technology etc.
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 2+ hours per week
The Role:
Do you have a vision for Denmark and the future of Europe?
Do you want to help shape and discuss the political program of Volt Denmark?
Volt Denmark is looking for people interested in investigating existing laws, policy, research and reports to discuss and craft policy. In doing so you will build up not only Volt Denmark's policy program, but also your own understanding of society and state of the art knowledge within your area of expertise.
What you will do:
Volt believes in fact based policy, which means that in order to craft policy, we have to gather relevant sources and discuss them in order to create a consistent and logic based policy that aligns with our values.
You can help by doing research on the subject matter, writing the policy and participating in discussion etc.
Must-Haves:
Language Skills: You are fluent in English. Fluency in Danish or other European languages is a plus.
Digital Proficiency: We use asana, the google suite and the related tools, which you must know or be willing to learn.
Social Skills: Policy and politics can be divisive. That's why it's important we keep ourselves and each other accountable, to keep a good tone and a constructive environment.
