Fundraising Team Volunteer

Who We Are Looking For:
We need a structured and process oriented people, who can help us obtain funding while spreading awareness about Volt.

Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 2+ hours per week.

The Role

Politics requires vision, but change requires resources. Are you the person who can fuel our movement?

Volt Denmark is looking for fundraising team members to help build the financial engine of our party and to spread awareness about our mission.

Your mission is to help ensure Volt Denmark has the resources to grow, campaign, and make an impact, all while maintaining the highest standards of transparency.

What You will do

The exact tasks and relevant skills highly depends on if you are working on grants and big donors or are more people oriented and aim towards the common people. However, regardless of your situation, you will be presented with the following aspects:

  • Teamwork: Our team is an international team based in the Volt Nordic framework, with great opportunity to connect with the European team as well, depending on your exact tasks and goals.

  • Strategy: You will help enact the current fundraising strategy for Volt Denmark. With time as your experience and expertise grows, your responsibilities may grow to includes planning digital crowdfunding campaigns, organizing fundraising dinners, or launching merchandise sales.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration possibilities:

    • With Treasury: You will work hand-in-hand to ensure that donor income is reported correctly.

    • With Communication: You will craft the "ask." You will work with the communicatoin team to tell compelling stories that inspire people to donate.

    • With Community: You will identify how to engage our existing members to become donors.

Must-Haves:

  • Integrity: You handle resources with absolute transparency and responsibility.

  • Language Skills: You are fluent in English. Being good in Danish, as well as other European languages is a plus.

  • Collaborative Spirit: You understand that fundraising isn't a solo act; it requires constant alignment with the Treasury and Communication teams.

  • Digital Proficiency: You are comfortable learning new digital tools (CRM systems, donation platforms) and working within Google Workspace.
