Community Team Volunteer
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for people who enjoy working with others, welcoming new members, and helping build an open, inclusive political community. You do not need prior political or organizational experience, just curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to engage.
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 2+hours per week
The Role
Do you enjoy meeting new people and helping them feel welcome?
Do you want to contribute to a new political movement by strengthening its community from within?
Volt Denmark is looking for Community Volunteers to support our growing member base. As a Community Volunteer, you help turn interest into engagement by supporting onboarding, events, and everyday community life. You play an important role in making sure members feel informed, included, and motivated to participate.
In this role, you will gain experience in community building, volunteer coordination, and political organizing, while contributing directly to the growth of Volt Denmark.
What You will do:
You will support the daily work of the Community Team and help members find their place in the organization.
You may help with welcoming new members, participating in onboarding calls, or assisting with practical follow up such as answering questions or guiding people to the right teams.
You can help organize or support meet ups and social events, either online or in person, to strengthen connections between members.
You may assist with community communication by helping keep WhatsApp groups tidy, sharing relevant information, or supporting a positive and respectful tone in discussions.
Depending on your interests and availability, you can gradually take on more responsibility within the community team.
Must-Haves:
Language skills: You are comfortable communicating in English. Danish and other languages are a plus.
Social skills: You enjoy interacting with people and can contribute to a respectful, friendly, and constructive environment.
Reliability: You follow through on tasks you take on and communicate clearly if you need help or need to step back.
Digital Willingness: You are comfortable using or willing to learn basic tools such as Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and task management tools.
How to apply:
Send an email to [email protected] from your Volt or personal email and tell us that you are interested in becoming a Community Volunteer.
We will arrange a short meeting so we can get to know each other and answer any questions you may have.
If you are unsure or just curious, do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to hear from everyone who is interested.
